A C.E.O. had a dream. In his dream he discovered that even though he could control his Board of Directors, Senior Managers, and all of the staff underneath them he could still lose. Even though he had more degrees than anyone in his profession, and the best mentors of the 21st century, he could still lose. Even though he lived in his office (there was suite connected to his office) and worked every hour of the day, even playing sales reports on his headphones as he slept, he could still lose.

After he saw all of these things, he decided to go home. When he arrived at his mansion he noticed that it looked unkept, and almost empty. Almost empty, because in his only daughter's room the light shined dimly.

The C.E.O. walked up his ivory spiral stair case and once he reached the third floor he headed straight to his daughter's bedroom. He opened the door and he instantly exhaled in grief because his beautiful daughter was not there. The light wasn't her lamp, but her TV playing news. The C.E.O.'s grief momentarily turned into amazement when he realized that the news program was one day ahead. And it was anarchy.

The San Andreas fault line in California opened up so wide that it appeared it wanted to swallow the sky. The C.E.O.'s business ventures in California were ruined, and beyond repair. Freeways crumbled, and the Dodger stadium...Wait, he thought. She's at the baseball game with my ex-wife. Dodger stadium fell right through the earth.

At that exact moment of realization the man woke up.
